GENEROUS families of Prestwood Infant School pupils dug deep in the run up to Christmas to raise cash for two charities founded by previous pupils of the school.
Some £270 was raised for the XP Support Group and the Thomas Ball Children's Cancer and Fund Charities by the children and families of the school in Moat Lane, Prestwood.
Proud headteacher Helen Farndon said: "There is nothing more touching than children reaching out to children."
Thomas Ball and Alex Webb were both pupils of the school.
