BEN Townsend has joined Woking on a month's loan.
The Adams Park right back, who has just battled back to fitness after injury, made his debut for the Cardinals in their 2-1 victory over Kettering Town in the Vauxhall Conference on Saturday.
Woking made their move for him after former Adams Park player Matt Crossley, now on the coaching staff at Kingfield, saw him impress for Wanderers reserves in their 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.
Townsend is the second Wanderer this season to join Woking on loan.
Republic of Ireland U19 international Ian Simpemba spent three months on loan at Kingfield before returning to Adams Park but Woking are still interested in signing him.
