A STRING OF plumbers, electricians and gas fitters from South Bucks are set to be 'exposed' on the nation's TV screens.

Towards the end of last year the BBC series Rogue Traders set up a house in High Wycombe with hidden cameras.

They then called various tradesmen to the house to fix problems such as leaking pipes deliberately loosened by experts.

The programme makers film tradesmen working on the problem and aim to show them producing expensive bills for work that sometimes is not required.

The show also uses a house in south London.

Matt Allwright, the programme's presenter, said they do more than just film them as they carry out work.

He said: "It is not the first time we have done secret filming but the thing that we can do differently is we can follow these people and track them down. We follow them on a motorbike and find out how much they pay for the parts. We reveal their modus operandi. If you can point them out then others will be aware of them."
