SUPER striker Kieren Alan-Curry handed out six of the best as Holmer Green beat Golden Eagles 10-3 in the Youth League Cup.

Alan-Curry scored half a dozen goals, including five in the second half, after the Division One side, who are unbeaten, were held 3-3 at half-time by fourth division Eagles.

Daren Crane opened the scoring for Holmer Green before Kieran Niles equalised only for Alan-Curry to restore Holmer Green's lead before Joe da Silva made it 3-1.

But back came the Eagles and equalised through Steven Gardner and All Muhammed to make it 3-3 at half-time.

Then came the Alan-Curry show while Crane and Mason also weighed in with strikes.

Most of the fixtures were washed out at the weekend but Burnham Kats' game against Tring Corinthians was able to go ahead.

Michael James grabbed the first, followed by a strike by Daniel Orme.

Tring came back and equalised but James got his second and then Daniel Boatang clinched victory.

In Division Two saw Hughenden Athletic beat Beacons Bottom 3-1 to keep up the pressure on league leaders Chalfont St Peter.

After a goalless first half, Tiff Wynn bagged a hat-trick as Beacons Bottom ran out of gas, though Justin Godfrey managed a consolation late on in the game.

The only other match to go ahead saw Burnham Wildcats thrash Prestwood 9-1.

Burnham got two quick goals from midfielder Matt Riddle and another two headed home from Lawrence Brown, to be followed up just before half-time with a well taken effort from forward Ryan Waters.

The second half was no different from the first with Kevin Newham slamming home a scorcher, two more from Riddle and a well earned goal from hard working Charlie Sheldon, with Prestwood getting a deserved consolation near the end.
