LONDON Underground bosses faced angry commuters at a public meeting in Chesham last Thursday night to answer their questions on the service.
Commuters told them they were angry at the unreliability of the Met which they say has only been made worse by the introduction of a new timetable last May.
In response, London Underground said:
1) The Met train line from Chesham and Amersham desperately needs money pumped into it
2) It is unreliable for commuters to use
3) The equipment on it is clapped out
4) The new timetable on the line has not been given a proper chance.
5) They will consider making some changes for the new timetable in September
What do you think?
Friday's Amersham and Chesham Free Press will report on what happens now.
We will bring you a full report on the meeting together with quotes from commuters, London Transport, rail unions and drivers.
