GOOD news for local residents is that Doreen Biggin came home from hospital early this week following a successful skin craft and treatment. Please make sure that she gets lots of information for this column which she looks forward to doing next week.
Doreen promised a mention of the Women of Ward 21 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. "We all became great friends" she says "and had lots of laughs including an impromptu cabaret with a tap dancing solo from yours truly". One of the Women of Ward 21 was a lady of 91 among the wide range of ages.
With so many reports on the NHS Doreen was delighted to say that her treatment at Stoke Mandeville was wonderful.
EVERYONE at the BFP sends their good wishes Doreen.
