ILIAD is at The Centre Theatre in Bourne End on Saturday night. It offers a chance to see Andrew Potter in a role which was highly praised during its initial run at the Wycombe Swan. You don't need to be a classics scholar to understand this study on why we make war. Anyone who saw Andrew as Richard III, and a number of people from Flackwell Heath did so, will want to see him in Iliad. The performance starts at 8pm and tickets are £5 on the door or from Bourne End Community Centre Office on 01628 522604.

CHILTERN Trains will be the subject of a talk by Mr Frank Faulkner at the next meeting of the Heath Women's Club on Thursday, February 21, at 8pm in the Community Centre.

FENNELS Wood Conservation Group will be holding a clear up and bonfire on Sunday in the woods, meeting at 9am. Phone Mike Newton on 01628 525083 for more details.

THE Evening Women's Institute will be holding a table top sale on Saturday, February 23, from 10am to midday in the Community Centre.
