CEDARS School Site was discussed at a recent meeting of parish councillors with the English Church Housing Group, a Bucks County Council representative and Architect Mark Simmons, which resulted in a number of options to be considered. The parish council wished to accept the proposed sum of money to use on a parish project. It was also proposed that any new building would have to be dovetailed with the present proposals for the remainder of the Stable Block.

BOWLING green costs with a sketch were presented by councillor Taylor. The application to the Lottery is in hand.

RECREATION pavilion has damaged security lighting and parish councillors agreed that it should be replaced in the interests of safety.

GOLDEN Anniversary celebrations of the Residents Association in May this year and chairman, David Gantzel, advised that the chairman and two other members of the parish council would be invited.

VALENTINE'S Disco at the Community Centre on Saturday at 8pm. Every lady receives a gift. Tickets are now on sale from the social club bar, or the office at £4 for members and £7 non-members.

ROYAL British Legion has an indoor car boot sale at the Community Centre on Saturday, February 23. The doors are open at 11am. If you want a table they are £6 pre-booked and £7 on the day. Refreshments, cake stall and tombola are other features.

WI members are holding a jumble sale at the Community Centre in the Small Hall on Saturday, February 23, from 10am until midday.
