DEBATES about Bucks County Council's proposal to build a new access route across Green Belt to Risborough Upper School has taken a fresh turn with the release of further details about a major sports complex that the school is planning to develop in the next few years which will be situated alongside this new entrance.
These proposals would seek lottery funding to provide a community recreational facility open all week.
Local, county and regional environmental agencies and organisations, concerned about the impact on wildlife, heritage and the landscape have already put objections to the application.
NEXT conservation work party at the local Brush Hill Nature Reserve alongside Kop Hill will be on Sunday, February 24. The morning will be spent clearing scrub from an important grassland area. For work party details ring 01844 274865.
A late entry to the Risborough Model Railway Exhibition at the Community Centre on Saturday is a historic collection of rare 1960s Triang TT models. This smaller gauge was intended for those enthusiasts who did not have the space for the larger 00 models.
