ON Sunday at 10am St Francis Church will be commencing their annual Lent Project. This year the funds raised will go to the South Bucks Day Hospice and Avril Berry, who has just become the fundraising director at the hospice, will be addressing the congregation. Avril helped raise funds for the building of Edith Pusey House.
ON Wednesday, February 20 at 8pm, also at St Francis Church, a Lent course on Understanding Islam with Reverend Dickinson and local Muslim JP, Abdul Salaam hosting the discussions. All are welcome to attend.
THE annual pancake race at Wellesbourne Campus on Shrove Tuesday was won jointly by House Korsakoff (a team of students from Holland) and Global Music (a lecturer's team).
