THE Tough Tenors finally play at Marlow's Jazz Club this Thursday 21st Feb at TJ O'Reilly's, Marlow Bottom.
The Tough Tenors are the hugely popular sax partnership of Ray Gelato and Alex Garnett.
The pair of tenor saxophonists first teamed up three years ago just for fun, but their performance has gone from strength to strength raising the roof not only over here but in Ray's home country of Italy.
This dynamic duo are frequently compared to the great tenor sax battlers in jazz history such as Dexter Gordon/ Wardell Grey and Sonny Still/Gene Ammons.
The twosome will be backed by the resident Frank Toms Trio, who are expecting to have their work cut out keeping up with the pace. Music starts around 8.30pm with an admission charge of £5.
