Student Chris Carr, 18, enjoys a pint or four at his local pub, Toad at the Emporium in Frogmoor, High Wycombe
How often do you drink here?
I suppose I must come in a couple of days a week. In fact I spend the majority of my life in here as I work here part-time as well. I work here about 30 hours a week.
What do you like best about The Toad?
The staff here are really friendly and the management is absolutely great. It is always a lovely atmosphere and always cheerful and lively.
What is the food like?
The chocolate Belgian waffles are very very good. All the food is nice here.
What is your favourite tipple?
It has to be a large Jack Daniels and coke.
When is it busiest?
On a Saturday night it is really busy. But it is lively throughout the week as well.
Pub history:
Chris says the pub itself hasn't yet built up a history as it only opened on August 4. However before it was The Toad it used to be offices for Parker Knoll, the furniture company. The pub has also taken on an old cottage next door as a store room, which is believed to be haunted.
