THERE'S the chance to take your fill of Indian and European cuisine on Thursday 21st February, and all in a good cause.
Loretta Kyete, of Haddenham, badly needs a new wheelchair. And diners at Ivory on Thursday will be able to help that dream come true.
Loretta's husband Geoff explains: "Loretta broke her back 32 years ago when she was 18 and is paraplegic. She has been amazingly active in her wheelchair but in recent years has been suffering a lot of pain, which the specialists say is because she needs a different wheelchair which costs £3,000."
In come Ivory, the restaurant at Loudwater, and Graeme Evison, local sales manager for Kingfisher Indian lager, who are putting on the charity event to help raise funds.
If you'd like to help, come along on Thursday and enjoy a buffet of Indian and European cuisine plus entertainment, raffle and a free drink of Kingfisher. The charity event costs £20, of which half goes to the wheelchair fund.
