ULRIKA Jonsson is busy juggling motherhood with her TV career at the moment.

This week she returns as team captain on the new series of the off the wall quiz show Shooting Stars.

Joining her in the madcap mayhem is Vic Reeves, Bob Mortimer, Will Self, Matt Lucas and Johnny Vegas.

This is the fourth series of the show famed for its weird catchphrases, which features an eclectic mix of celebrities brave enough to endure the ritual humiliation that comes with the territory.

This week Ulrika is joined by Johnny Vegas and Goldie while Will Self will humiliate Jordan and Simon Day.

Along with Shooting Stars Ulrika is also the host on the Saturday night show Dog Eat Dog.

After the break-up of her relationship with Markus Kempen, Ulrika shares her home in Cookham with her seven-year-old son Cameron and one-year-old daughter Bo.

The comedic host was born in Stockholm and moved to England when she was 12 years old.

Her break into the world of television came when she was working at TV-am and she was given the chance to be the station's weather presenter in 1989.

She was then catapulted to fame when she became the Gladiators presenter in 1992.

But it was Vic Reeves and John Mortimer who found her hidden comic talent and made her team captain on Shooting Stars. This was followed by her own comedy show It's Ulrika.

She has also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest with Terry Wogan.

But her television career hasn't all been fun and frolics. She has interviewed John Major when he was prime minister and Gordon Brown, the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
