SUPPORTERS of a school for the severely disabled are to hold a charity ball to raise money for a hydrotherapy pool.
Maplewood School, in Cressex Road, High Wycombe, cares for children with sensory, physical and learning disabilities. The £500,000 pool will provide some of the children with a freedom of movement they do not normally experience.
The May Time Ball, organised by the Maplewood School Parents, Staff and Friends Assocation, will feature a fun casino, auction, raffle, tombola and dancing.
It starts at 7pm on May 11 at The Bellhouse Hotel, Beaconsfield.
PSFA chairman Hazel Howe said: "This is a very special event in our calendar."
Anyone who wants to buy a ticket, at £50, or help the charity should contact Hazel Howe on 01494 875021.
