CHILLY pensioner Anne Ching has blasted Wycombe District Council for failing to fix her heating since she complained early in the new year.
Mrs Ching, 72, said she manages to keep her body warm, but is suffering from continued bouts of sneezing.
She added: "I have got an immersion heater now, but the central heating is still not fixed and I have to make do with two fan heaters.
"Wycombe District Council should be fixing this."
Mrs Ching was featured in Midweek two weeks ago after complaining to the council early last month, and is disgusted the council has still not solved the problem.
The council has fixed the boiler at the house in Parsonage Close, High Wycombe, but Mrs Ching claims a workman told her it could be up to three more weeks until the heating is up and running again.
Mrs Ching suffers from dizzy spells and is on medication to combat that. She claims the fan heaters add to her problem.
A spokesman from the council said: "Unfortunately, our contractors have only recently been able to access the property after several attempts to contact the tenant.
"A new boiler component is required, has been ordered from the manufacturer, and we're now awaiting delivery."
