FOOTBALL games will be replayed when the oldest junior club in Bucks, Lane End Football Club, celebrates its 120th birthday with a reunion and special presentation.
Former footballers of Lane End Football Club will journey from as far afield as Canada for the event at Lane End Village Hall.
And a special presentation by vice chairman of the Berks and Bucks Football Association, Jim Atkins, will see a commemorative plaque being awarded to the club's chairman Delaney Hudson, for being 'the oldest registered junior club in Buckinghamshire.'
Party co-organiser Trevor Perrin said: "It will be a fantastic night with all the local senior clubs being represented. This is a rare achievement for any football club and we are all very proud.
"Since 1882 the club has attracted and retained most of the village men. Our last reunion was 20 years ago so we should have a lot to talk about."
Money raised will go towards the Lane End's Pavilion Fund.
The reunion takes place on February 16.
Tickets cost £10 and are available from Trevor on 01494 881414 or John on 01494 881402.
