FORTY riders took part in the third winter of High Wycombe Cycling Club's winter Reliability Trials.
And they were joined on the 100-mile testing course by former multi National Champion Eddie Adkins, former professional rider Willis Godly and former Club Road Racing Champion Steve Noble, all three have been Wycombe riders.
Steve in the 70's was placed 4th in the National Road Race Championships and was selected to compete for Great Britain in the Classic Peace Race abroad. After that race he presented his medal to the club at that time, and it is now awarded for the best single day road race performance in the club each year.
