MARLOW go into tomorrow's FA Cup first qualifying round match at home to Long Melford looking to maintain their unbeaten run.

The Oak Tree Roaders haven't lost since the opening day and manager Tim Cook wants that to continue.

He said: "The run has been impressive but from a personal point of view, it's been disappointingg because we should be in a higher position in the league than we are.

"We've had the opportunity to win games and get the three points but we've let it slip.

"I'm pleased with the progress we're making. We've had our ups and downs but I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game.

"I prefer being the underdogs but we've got everything to lose and they've got nothing to lose. They've had two good results against sides above them in the league but we're at home so we've got to go out there with confidence, without being blaz.

"The last thing we want to do is have to go back to their place in a replay."

Cook reckons his side has what it takes to win.

He said: "I'm quietly confident. We've got one of strongest squads available and we're good enough to do well.

"From the club's point of view, it will be nice to get in the next round and bring more money into the club and it would be nice to go on a cup run as a manager."

Marlow go into the game with Jeff Lamb in contention after injury.

The Oak Tree Roaders drew their last game 1-1 on Saturday. Steve Croxford opened the scoring for Marlow but Corby equalised in the last five minutes through Richard Moore.
