MEMORIAL HALL AGM is on Monday evening, starting at 8pm. The new building plans are almost complete and the architect will be there to answer any questions. Please go to the meeting, find out what is happening, give your views and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the evening.

This is an exciting time for the hall and the management committee needs help to carry through its plans. BUCKINGHAMSHIRE Childminding Association is celebrating National Sure Start Month with an "It's Circus Time" half-term holiday fun activity day on Wednesday, June 1, 10am to 2pm, at St Birinus Church Hall, Sycamore Road. All events and activities will have a circus theme, with prizes for children in circus fancy dress. The charge is £3 per adult and £1 per child (no charge under one year), lunch and refreshments included. Booking is essential. TEN CLUBS competed in WADSAD's fifth open sports day at Stokenchurch last Sunday. WADSAD results: Robert Cocker first in javelin and golf, third in discus; Robin Gardner first in javelin, second in darts; Steven Brewster second in target javelin; Victoria Wilkinson third in wheelchair club.

The results are just in for the British Long Distance One Hour Postal Swim, an international event that took place in January and February. WADSAD members were placed as follows: Ladies, 30 to 34, fourth Susan Howard; Ladies, 35 to 39, fifth Lorna Hogg; Gents, 25 to 29, fourth Richard Powell; Gents, 45 to 49, second Nicky Rose; Gents, 50 to 59, third Michael Thorne.
