If, like me, you've always wanted to take part in a charity run, but found the thought too daunting, why not take the opportunity to really make a difference and run the London Breakfast 5k Run for women in aid of the British Red Cross?

Starting at 8.35am on Sunday, July 3, the run will take you through the nation's capital and past some of London's greatest landmarks.

I know it will be a challenge, but what better motivation than to know not only are you getting fit, but you are also making a difference to people's lives?

Thanks to the support of the public the British Red Cross is able to continue its vital work both at home and abroad.

So I am asking you, please join in the London Breakfast 5k run for women and help to support the work of the British Red Cross.

If I can do it, anyone can!
