THE Hughenden Road is indeed a dangerous nightmare. It is fairly narrow and quite winding, yet drivers overtake on blind bends at 60 mph or more. Quite mad.
It should have a 40 mph limit throughout and a couple of speed cameras.
Then we might see rather less bunches of flowers beside the road.
There are several there today.
