SCORES of angry motorists have backed the Bucks Free Press campaign for traffic bosses to reveal how much money road safety bosses are making from a controversial mobile speed camera on Marlow Hill.
Last week we asked readers to join us in our bid for the Thames Valley Safer Roads Partnership (TVSRP) to Bring Us Up To Speed by filling out a coupon, and several drivers have already sent back completed forms.
These coupons, asking for figures on the number of fines issued and amount of revenue raised by the camera, will then be sent to the TVSRP to put added pressure on them to spill the beans.
A fresh appeal for the information to be divulged under the Freedom of Information Act is being put together by the Free Press.
Lesley Clarke, the leader of Wycombe District Council, will also write to the TVSRP.
Cllr Clarke said: "I'd like to know how much that camera is earning.
"I will be writing a letter this weekend."
