A WARM welcome from pupils at Marlow Church of England Infant School has sent them straight to the top of the class.

The 30 six and seven-year-olds in Jo Copland's class impressed their new headteacher Elizabeth Toohig so much with their friendly and welcoming ways, she nominated them for Midweek's Class of the Week.

Miss Toohig said: "Miss Copland's class are the oldest class in the school and they have been setting a really good example for the other children, always being kind and considerate in the playground. I have seen them looking after our new starters and they made me feel very welcome as well."
