GIRLS in the First Chenies and Chalfont Rainbows staged a protest to campaign against plans to close a library down.
Fourteen girls from the Rainbow pack met at the library in Cokes Lane, Little Chalfont, on Saturday, November 12, to say why they want their library to stay open.
Julie Pickard, Rainbow leader, said: "The girls were very keen to do this because they don't want to see their library go."
In the last five years, the number of visitors to Little Chalfont Library has fallen by 31 per cent.
