Man denies 1980 High Wycombe rape
A MAN has denied raping a girl in High Wycombe thirty years ago.
Norman Stanley pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court this morning.
Stanley, of Great Billington, near Leighton Buzzard, is accused of raping a 17-year-old girl in Micklefield Road on April 25 1980.
The 60-year-old Stanley was denied bail by Judge Christopher Tyrer and remanded into custody ahead of a trial at the same court, which is set to start on July 12.
