A SECOND application has been made to knock down a former High Wycombe pub and build flats in its place.

Developers have this week made a bid to demolish the Red Lion, at the corner of London Road and Cock Lane, and build 12 one-and-two bedroomed flats on the site.

A previous application was made in February last year but was rejected.

The following planning applications were also made to south Bucks councils yesterday.

Wycombe District Council:

Armour Farm, Stockwell Lane, Little Meadle. Construction of two storey side and rear extensions together with alterations.

Ferry Cottage, Henley Road, Hambleden. Householder application for removal of the existing 1.8m timber fence and erection of brick entrance walls around the site access to the north east corner of the site and installation of timber gates for vehicular and pedestrian access and an acoustic fence along the entire roadside boundary and returning along the end boundary to shelter the existing greenhouses and sheds.

14 River View, Flackwell Heath. Householder application for proposed division of front bedroom into 2 no. bedrooms with alterations to window fenestration to form 5 bed dwelling.

The Red Lion, 551 London Road, High Wycombe. Demolition of existing Public House and erection of 1 block comprising 4 x 1 bed and 8 x 2 bed flats with associated parking, bin stores, cycle store and amenity space.

21 Mountain Ash, Marlow Bottom. Householder application for demolition of existing conservatory and erection of replacement single storey rear extension.

Hutchison 3G Site SL6073, Station Approach, Marlow. Prior Approval notification for replacement of the existing 15m H3G Telecoms Monopole with a 15m Telefonica O2 Telecoms Monopole and ancillary cabinets within existing compound.

79 Green Road, High Wycombe. Proposed non-material amendment to permission for construction of part two storey/part first floor rear and side extension granted under Householder planning ref 09/05856/FUL.

17 Hedley Road, Flackwell Heath. Householder application for construction of single storey rear extension.

West View, 6 Windmill Lane, Widmer End. Certificate of proposed lawfulness for demolition of existing garage and construction of detached single storey double garage and associated external alterations.

Huttons Farm, Main Road, Rotten Row, Hambleden. Demolition of existing storage sheds & erection of a cheese dairy building & separate smoke house.

Fairlight, Bottom Road, Radnage. Householder application for construction of two storey side extension.

The Barn, Clayfield House, Whitepit Lane, Wooburn Green. Certificate of existing lawfulness for the use of The Barn ground floor as home office/storage and first floor used as additional guest accommodation ancillary to main dwelling.
