firefighters break into flat to turn off gas
FIREFIGHTERS had to break down a front door after a householder left his gas hob on before going to work this afternoon.
Crews from High Wycombe attended the home in Fennels Road, Loudwater, after neighbours reported a gas smell.
When firefighters got into the flat they discovered the hob had been left on but there was no fire.
