PLANS to promote Princes Risborough further afield hope to be put into action to encourage more people to come to the town.
At last night's Princes Risborough annual town meeting one resident asked what the town council is doing to promote what the town has to offer.
The resident from Wycombe Road said: “The High Street isn't as vibrant as it should be. Ok, we do have shops which were empty and are now full. But who wants more charity shop in the town? I know they have their place.
“We need to tell people, the world, what a great place Risborough is so other shops want to come here and people want to visit.”
Chairman Alan Turner said the town council realise they need to promote the town more.
He said they are working on a promotional campaign with plans to put leaflets at Birmingham and Marylebone stations to “try and promote the town and try and get them in.”
