A MAN was arrested on suspicion of burglary after being found hiding near a building in Wooburn Green.

Police had been alerted to a reported burglary in progress at about 3.15am this morning at a commercial premises in Holtspur Lane.

Damage had been caused to the building but no entry had been gained. Enquiries into the incident continue.

Meanwhile, a car stolen from Booker after its keys were taken when the glass in the rear door of a house was broken was later found in London.

Entry was gained to a house in Arundel Road between 9am-6:30pm on Monday 26 and the car keys stolen.

The following crimes have all also been reported to Thames Valley Police.

Between 8:15-9:15pm on Friday 23 a grey Citroen parked in Holmer Farm Way and a grey Fiat vehicle parked in Marlow Hill were both attacked and part of their exhaust, including the catalytic converter, were stolen after being cut from the underside of the vehicle. A further similar offence was reported between 6pm on Friday 23 and 6pm on Sunday 25, when a grey Citroen was attacked in the Gladstone Rise area.

Between 11pm on Friday 23 and 8am on Saturday 24, offenders gained entry to a vehicle while parked in Crowbrook Road, Askett, and stole a TomTom Satellite navigation system.

At about 2:30am on Sunday 25, the occupants of a premises in Lines Road, Lane End, disturbed an offender attempting to remove lead flashing from the property. A male aged approximately 16 years old, and wearing a cream coloured hooded top, was seen to make off.

Between 7:30am-2:30pm on Friday 23, offenders gained entry to a domestic garage in West Ridge, Bourne End, and stole an Orange and Grey coloured Stihl chainsaw.

Between 8:30am on Friday 23 and 5:30pm on Saturday 24, offenders gained entry to a premises in Blind Lane, Bourne End, by smashing glass in a rear door. A search was carried out and electrical items including a Panasonic television, a Samsung DVD player and a Toshiba laptop in a computer bag was stolen.

Between 9am-1:20pm on Tuesday 27, offenders gained entry to green coloured Ford Ka in The Pastures, Downley, by smashing the driver's window and stole a Stereo fascia.

Between 3-4pm on the same day in the same road, offenders gained entry to a grey coloured Volvo saloon car by smashing the driver's window and stolen a Dynaco Satellite navigation system and a photographic lens.

Between 7pm on Monday 26 and 7:30am on Tuesday 27, offenders gained entry to a red Ford Escort vehicle parked in Gandon Vale, High Wycombe, by smashing the front nearside window. The vehicle was searched and the stereo fascia stolen. A second vehicle in the same area was also entered and the stereo fascia stolen.

Between 9am-5:30pm on Wednesday 28, offenders gained entry to a premises in Hughenden Road, High Wycombe, by forcing a ground floor side window. A search was made of the property and an X-Box games console and laptop computer were stolen.
