Home needed for abandoned horse
THE Horse Trust is seeking to find a home for a mare abandoned on Boxing Day as part of their ongoing rehoming scheme.
The Speen-based charity – the oldest horse charity in the UK – found 12hh black mare 'Bess' abandoned in a snow-covered field last year.
Trust Welfare and Education Officer Liane Crowther is seeking to find her a 'loving home' in the Buckinghamshire area.
She said: “She is a very sweet-natured mare and needs a companion home where she won't be ridden."
