Cliveden to celebrate birthday of former owner
THE National Trust estate of Cliveden is to host a day of fun to celebrate the birthday of a former owner – the American socialite and Britain's first female MP Nancy Astor.
Families are encouraged to attend the 1920s and 30s-themed event, which will feature vintage cars, live music, refreshments and celebrity guests.
Visitors Services Manager John Bignell says: “The day will have a really traditional feel to it - informal, relaxed, and great fun.”
