DRIVERS can expect delays in Gerrards Cross for the next two months as temporary traffic lights are due to be set up today.
Tesco will start work on widening the Packhorse Road bridge in order to create the forecourt for its new store.
Temporary lights are set to regulate traffic crossing the bridge.
The store is to be built on top of a tunnel over the Chiltern rail line.
The project hit national headlines in 2005 when the original tunnel collapsed due to the works.
Costain, a new contractor which was hired after the collapse, has now completed a replacement rail tunnel and is set to finish packing it with infill today.
The store is set to open in November.
