A VULNERABLE missing man has been found following a massive rescue search.
Allen Marchant was found in Rickmansworth shortly before 5pm yesterday, having gone missing from his home in Chesham Road, Amersham, on Saturday.
He is currently being checked over by medical professionals to ensure he is well enough to return home.
Chief Inspector Ian Hunter, Commander for Chiltern Local Police Area, said: “About fifty people including police officers, community support officers and search and rescue volunteers were involved and the force helicopter and search dogs were also drafted in.
“The hunt to find Mr Marchant involved a significant redeployment of resources from across the county and all involved are delighted he has been found safe and well.”
