A 35-YEAR-OLD High Wycombe man has been jailed for 12 weeks after breaching an anti-social behaviour order.
Christian Clarke was handed a 12 week sentence by Wycombe Magistrates on June 17 after he was arrested for using threatening and abusive words towards a member of the public on June 15.
He had been issued a five year ASBO by Wycombe District Council and Thames Valley Police's joint Public Safety Team in September 2008.
The conditions of the order prohibited him from engaging in any threatening, abusive or aggressive behaviour towards any person or engaging in any behaviour which causes or is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to any person.
It also barred him from remaining on any land or premises having been asked to leave by the owner or occupier.
Cllr Richard Scott, Wycombe District Council's cabinet member for younger and older people, said: "Tackling anti-social behaviour is a top priority for both Wycombe District Council and Thames Valley Police.
“There are various ways in which we deal with anti-social behaviour and we don't request the issue of anti-social behaviour orders lightly - so when one is breached, we take it seriously."
