A THIRD arrest has been made following the the death of a 23-year-old woman who was visiting Maidenhead last week.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and arson with intent to endanger life after 23-year-old Saimah Ali died during a house fire in Moor Lane, Maidenhead, on Friday June 25.
The man, from the Slough area, was arrested at Heathrow Airport late last night, where he was believed to be coming into the country.
A man aged 19 and a girl aged 17 appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
They remain in custody and are due to appear before Reading Crown Court on Friday 16 July for a preliminary hearing.
An application for bail for the girl is due to be heard today.
A post-mortem held at Wexham Park Hospital revealed that the cause of death was smoke inhalation.
