THREE 'snatch thefts' have been reported in Beaconsfield, with the victims all being blinded by a torch before handing over their handbags.
The incidents were similar in nature and happened in Woodside Road on Sunday, Westfield Road on Friday and Chiltern Hill Road on June 25.
On each occasion the offender approached the victim from behind as they were about to enter their home and shone a torch in their face. He then asked them to hand over their handbag, police said.
All the incidents were between 12.25 and 1am and it is suspected that the offender has access to a vehicle.
The suspect is described as a 20 – 25-year-old white male, 5'8-5'9 tall with slim build. He has dark blonde hair which is short and cropped. All three victims state that he was well spoken with a local accent.
