ELDERLY residents in Beaconsfield are set to compete in a bowling league through a computer console.
L&Q sheltered housing tenants living in St Josephs Mews, off Candlemas Lane, had a practice session on a Nintendo Wii on Tuesday, and will soon be competing against other tenants in South Bucks 'virtual league'.
Jeremy Hutchings, from L&Q, said: “The sessions have made a real difference to the schemes and lives of the people who live there, bringing them together socially whilst at the same time providing them with gentle movement and exercise.”
