Dad admits spirit level attack on son, 17
A 57-YEAR-OLD who attacked his son with a spirit level has been warned he may be jailed.
Douglas Forbes-Mitchell pleaded guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm against his 17-year-old son James when he appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court this morning.
The attack happened on January 28.
Forbes-Mitchell, of The Parkway, Iver Heath, was granted conditional bail by Judge Christopher Tyrer and will return to court to be sentenced on August 26.
Judge Tyrer said he “made no promises” regarding sentencing, adding custody was an option.
