A MAN was stabbed in High Wycombe during a confrontation between two groups of men.
Police said violent disorder took place in Glenisters Road on July 15. Details were only today released by police, who are appealing for witnesses.
At about 6.25pm, four Asian men were in the road when there was an incident with two white men who were travelling in a transit van, police said.
One of the Asian men sustained a significant but not life-threatening stab wound as a result of the incident. It is thought the van made off through Frogmoor.
Det Con Richard Earl, an investigator, said: “I have already spoken to a significant number of key witnesses but I am appealing for anyone else who may have seen the incident or the van as it made its way through Frogmoor to come forward and assist us with our enquiries.”
* Six men have been arrested on suspicion of affray and were bailed until mid-August.
