MORE than 125 guests gathered for a fundraising Summer Gala in Saunderton in aid of a trio of south Bucks based charities.
The Clare Foundation hosted the event for kidsinsport, Street Dreams and Wycombe Winter Night Shelter, raising £1,200 which will be divided between the charities.
Attendees at last month’s event were treated to a musical programme of Mendelssohn, Puccini, Purcell and Elgar, courtesy of string orchestra Chiltern Camerata.
Mike Clare, founder of The Clare Foundation, said: “Our Courtyard is a stunning haven, set within our headquarters in Saunderton, surrounded by rolling green countryside. It was the perfect setting for our Summer Gala Concert under the sky. Our guests were able to relax and enjoy beautiful music from Chiltern Camerata, knowing that they have contributed to some very deserving local charities. This is what The Clare Foundation is all about, supporting charitable and non-profit causes of all description.”
