MOST Bucks Free Press readers think people should not be forced to retire at 65, according to the results of a recent online poll.
Out of 185 people who voted 16 percent (30) said yes, people should be forced to retire at 65 and 84 percent (155) said no.
Employees will soon be able to pick what age they retire after new government proposals were revealed to scrap the compulsory retirement age.
From April next year the government want to phase in the proposal over a six month period which will mean employers cannot automatically dismiss staff when they reach 65.
