A CHALFONT St Peter man who died in a car accident in the village at the weekend was today named as James Corry.
The 32-year-old, of Lower Road, was killed when the silver BMW 730i he was a front seat passenger in collided with trees in Joiners Lane at about 12.30am on Saturday.
The driver, Mark Patten, 43, of Merton, London, was also killed.
Mr Patten's family today paid tribute to him.
A tribute, released by police said: “Mark passed away on 7/8/2010 in a tragic car accident in a small village called Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.
“Mark will be sadly missed by his three lovely children, mother, brother, sister and all that knew him.
“Mark would do anything or help anyone if he could he was kind natured, friendly and funny.
“He will never be forgotten.
“Fondly remembered by all who knew him.
“Mark rest in peace from all your family and friends.”

A man in the rear of the car, thought to be from Leeds, suffered minor injuries.
