SOME say it's all in the luck of the cards, others swear by the skill of maintaining a 'poker face'.
Either way, Beaconsfield ace Amy Trodd, 25, looks a good bet after sweeping aside 188 players to win a poker tournament in Luton, and pocketing £25,000 in the process.
The London End resident won the English Deep Stack Poker Championship at the G Casino last week.
Amy started playing poker at university but enjoyed it so much she now works for Ladbrookes Poker, whilst still playing competitivly in her spare time.
She said: "I'm absolutely delighted with my win, it was three days hard work but it's definitely been worth it. I had already planned three weeks in Vegas this summer and now I can fund it."
