A MAJOR inquiry into Pinewood Studios' plans to build 1,400 homes on Green Belt land will start on Tuesday.

The hearing at the Evreham Centre in Iver is set to last for 30 days.

In 2009 the council refused Pinewood's unique £200 million proposals to build 'live-in' film sets in Iver Heath - including a mock-Parisian square and Venice canal.

Pinewood appealed to the planning inspectorate. Inspector Ava Wood will chair the proceedings, which will be open to the public.

The sessions will begin at 10am everyday and finish at 5.30pm, except on Fridays when it will finish at 3.15pm.
