EMPIRE Cinema in High Wycombe is lending its support to the mayor’s charity appeal with a screening of a new animated film.
The cinema is backing the Pepper Foundation and the fundraising Sunrise Walk on Sunday, April 10, with a showing of Rio, the tale of a globetrotting macaw. All proceeds will go to the charity.
Staff from the cinema will be taking part in the walk, dressed as characters from classic films.
There will be three routes within West Wycombe Park for the walk, spearheaded by Mayor Jane White, of one, five or ten mile.
Cllr White said: "Please come along and support this charity showing to be part of raising money for the children of High Wycombe.
"Enjoy a lovely family evening. It will be nice seeing families supporting those not as fortunate."
