HIGH Wycombe RFC are U16 Bucks County champions after turning around a 20-point league defeat to overcome Amersham & Chiltern 36-20 in a fierce battle at Kingsmead.
Amesham led 10-3 early on with two unanswered tries, but fly half Liam Britnell scored a penalty, try and conversion to level it, before Matt Dunnington and Jack Taplin both crossed for the hosts to make it 22-10 at the break.
That lead was shaved to 22-20 with 15 minutes to go, but Callum Liles and Jack Tolhurst both crossed again for Wycombe to make certain.
