WE recently received a copy of ‘In Touch’ from the Conservative Party. There is a paragraph that caught my eye and I quote: “Firstly we would like everyone to know that thanks to a lot of effort from you the local residents and Wycombe District Council, Holywell Mead Swimming Pool will shortly be reopened.”
I am at a loss as to WDC’s contribution in this matter as my memory recalls WDC closed Holywell Mead much against the wishes of many of the townspeople of High Wycombe.
