THE public inquiry into the controversial Project Pinewood drew to a close last week.
South Bucks District Council, as well as Pinewood Studios and local campaigners made their closing statements at the Evreham Centre in Iver on Thursday.
The £200 million plans for the studios' Iver Heath site include building hundreds of new homes and multi-storey street scenes of Paris, London, New York, and other cities on Green Belt land.
Campaigners said 'special circumstances' for the project have not been proved, while the area would not be able to cope with 1,400 extra homes.
Pinewood said: "This isn't a run of the mill case fit for a default answer of 'the site is in the green belt therefore sorry but no' - our nation's competitors would be delighted were a project of such significance to be rebuffed."
A final decision will be announced by the inspector at a later date.
