AS Chairman of the High Wycombe Poppy Appeal fund, I would like to thank everyone involved with last Saturday’s 90th Anniversary Poppy Appeal launch at Chilterns Shopping Centre and Wycombe Wanderers FC. It was a privilege to attend both occasions and to see how the youth of our district gave up their time to support both launches.
Now we hope that the people of High Wycombe will support this extra special appeal by visiting the Poppy Shop in the Chilterns or donating any spare coins they have to the numerous collectors to be found around the town during the next two weeks.
